Marek Vrabec received his bachelor degree at Mendelova University in Brno, Faculty of Landscape Architecture in Lednice na Moravě . His bachelor's thesis focused on vanished urban structures and their future potential. The other goal of the thesis was to design an urban park on the grounds of a former mill in Břeclav. During his undergraduate studies, Marek participated in a workshop at the Landscape Festival in Prague in 2018, where he co-designed the installation "Nazastihnutelný" (Unattainable).
In 2022, he successfully completed his master's degree in Landscape Architecture at the same University. His thesis dealt with the revitalization and activation of public spaces in Mladá Boleslav, with the goal of defining an urban center through the redesign of public spaces, their revitalization, and the city's adaptation to the climate crisis.
He gained practical experience through internships and collaborations with landscape studios, primarily working on projects of city parks and design of public spaces in villages and small towns.
He joined the Land05 team in 2021, focusing mainly on the design of private gardens and smaller-scale public spaces.
