The locality natural undergrowth was taken into consideration when selecting suitable vegetation for the area surrounding the building. In order to entice the visitors to take a walk through the woodland, we chose to create a nature trail. Deer hoof imprints were picked to mark the direction of the walk showing various nature exhibits along the way. The environmentally sustainable design is using rainwater harvesting system to create a small woodland lake.
The design was awarded 3rd place in the architectural competition.
