1st Place For A Design Of A New School

We were jointly awarded the 1st with ’XTOPIX architekti’ and ’Consequence forma’ in the architectural competition for the Elementary and Nursery School in Brno. This project is not only about the school building, but also about a large public space. The jury stated: "The competition jury appreciated the landscaping solution, including the effort to preserve the original mature trees to the maximum extent possible." We are pleased with this statement, because we really made it a point that even such a large building may fit into nature surroundings and offer a pleasant and quite green public space.
